PLMR buys planning comms agency Snapdragon Consulting

Westminster and Edinburgh-based PLMR has made its second acquisition this year, buying specialist planning comms agency Snapdragon Consulting for an undisclosed sum.

Snapdragon was founded by in 2010 by Rebekah Paczek, formerly of The Communications Group and Weber Shandwick and latterly a director at PPS. The 11-person agency counts Jaguar Land Rover, Tarmac and several housebuilders among its clients.

Snapdragon operates from offices in London, Cambridge and Birmingham. The London team will move to PLMR’s headquarters in Westminster at the start of October. The enlarged PLMR business will number 55 staff.

In April, PLMR announced the acquisition of six-person agency Mango Marketing, a technology and education specialist.

PLMR generated revenue of £3.1m in 2016, according to PRWeek’s Top 150 Consultancies report.
