Nobu hires Fox

Nobu has appointed London's Fox PR as its global brand agency. The hospitality chain, which has restaurants and hotels across the world, had previously contracted Fox to run PR for the Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay.

Powell-Chandler joins Burson

Meg Powell-Chandler has joined Burson-Marsteller UK as a director. Previously a public affairs and policy consultant at the charity Crisis, she has previously worked as a special adviser across several Government departments including Downing Street. She has also held roles at CCHQ and was the Conservative candidate for Birmingham Northfield in the 2017 general election, coming in nearly 5,000 votes behind the Labour incumbent.

Hope&Glory wins UNiDAYS

UNiDAYS, a membership network which gives students access to exclusive discounts and benefits on fashion, technology, music and fitness brands, has appointed Hope&Glory as its retained PR agency following a competitive pitch. The appointment will include press office, campaigns, influencer work and b2b PR support and will be led by partner Adrian Chitty, who will report to Natalie Fox, UNiDAYS's global PR lead. UNiDAYS launched in 2011 and is headquartered in Nottingham.

Redleaf PRs Patron's Punch purchase

Redleaf Communications has announced that it provided comms support to Patron Capital on its now-completed £1.8bn acquisition of Punch Taverns. The agency, which has recently restructured its senior team, has worked for Patron since 2010.

RMS drops the 'PR'

RMS PR has rebranded to RMS in a move that it says in a press statement "finalises its transformation to a fully integrated marketing agency". The Altrincham business was founded by Ruth Shearn 25 years ago. Clients include Warburtons, Swizzels, Hiscox and the Federation of Small Businesses.

Onyx wins itch-relief brief

Onyx Health has been appointed by Singapore's Good Pharma Dermatology to manage the UK lauch of its itch-relief product Suu Balm, which will be launched in 600 Lloyds Pharmacy locations next month.

Spotahome hires Flame

Flame PR has been appointed to launch Spanish start-up Spotahome, a rental accomodation website, in the UK market.
