Acer and Red Bull collaborate on content

Computer maker Acer and energy drink brand Red Bull have announced a content partnership designed to combine the gaming and e-sports competencies of both companies. The partnership will include content production, product placement, event partnership and media activations. Content creation for Acer is handled by Ketchum, though it did not work on this project. Meanwhile, marketing agency Agent42 handles Acer's consumer and trade PR.

Wingfield wins Jaeger

High-end clothing retailer Jaeger has appointed fashion specialist Wingfield PR. The agency has also worked with Peacocks, Figleaves and Jane Norman, among others. Jaeger was recently bought by Edinburgh Woolen Mill from private equity firm Better Capital.

Signiant hires Bubble

Bubble Communications has been appointed by Signiant, a global provider of intelligent file movement software, to provide global PR support, effective immediately. Buckinghamshire agency Bubble had previously delivered a number of projects for Signiant, whose clients include Discovery Channel, Aardman, Twentieth Century Fox, The Guardian and NFL.

Brazil gets (more) sporty

James Gwinnett has been promoted to the role of head of sport at Brazil, a new division for the agency. Gwinnett has been at Brazil for two years. Earlier in his career he worked for Pitch Marketing Group. Brazil Sport will look to increase the sporting credentials of the agency, which has already developed and managed campaigns for major sports sponsors such as Honda, O2 and Sharp, and worked for sporting brands including Fitness First and The North Face and professional clubs and associations.

BID brings in comms lead

CH1ChesterBID, the organisations running Chester's business improvement district, has appointed Judy Tagell as its new marketing and communications manager. The marketer has previously worked for Newcastle-Under-Lyme College and Staffordshire University, and most recently as marketing manager for WM Reply, a Microsoft technology service provider, based in Chester.

Museum shop hires agency

Street & Co has been appointed to represent the Museum of London shop in the lead-up to Christmas. The agency was founded by Sarah Street in 2013. Pagefield recently won a new brief working for the museum itself, ahead of its relocation.

MD for SevenC3

Content marketing agency SevenC3 has promoted Rowan Manning to the role of MD. Manning has been with the business for 14 years.
