Racepoint Global picks up bills management service
Household bills management service Redbricks has appointed Racepoint Global to raise awareness of the company within student media – such as Lab Bible - and among property trade publications. The agency said it was also looking for opportunities to ‘newsjack’ on current coverage around the general election, student savings stories and press around energy bills. Redbricks was founded in 2015 by a former student of Leeds University.
Honey opens in San Fran
The Honey Partnership has opened an office in San Francisco. It will initially operate as Honni, the agency's social creative agency brand, and will focus on promoting Chinese consumer tech products in the US. Honni means 'we make you famous' in Mandarin. The new office is being managed by Ella Roche, who has been promoted and transferred from the group's London HQ. The company also has an office in Shenzhen, and has introduced a number of Chinese brands to Western markets.
Firefly and PLMR win cyber safety firm
Cyber safety business SafeToNet has appointed Firefly Communications and PLMR to handle media and government relations in the UK. As part of the brief, the agencies, which will work together, have been tasked with launching SafeToNet’s app offerings and raising awareness around cyber safety for UK families via stakeholder engagement and content creation.
Entertainment wins for Purple
Purple Entertainment has won a batch of new entertainment clients in the past three weeks. It will represent musicians Kelela, Connan Mockasin and Richie Hartin, the tattoo artist Dr Woo and Radio 1 presenter Clara Amfo, has been taken on to consult for the gay dating platform Grindr, and has taken on a project with the retailer Selfridges.
Richmond Towers ups the apples and pears
Richmond Towers has been appointed by English Apples & Pears, an organisation created in 1990 to promote the fruits. The agency has been handed a brief worth six figures to run a campaign that will aim to put Bramley cooking apples back on family dinner tables, create reasons for retailers to stock more home-grown apples, and more.
Body glitter business takes on Refresh
Body glitter makeup business Wish Upon A Sparkle has appointed Manchester-based PR agency Refresh to raise awareness of the brand and launch its new product range of glitter products to the media. Refresh has been tasked with securing coverage for the brand in key national and consumer media, as well as influential blogs and celebrity outreach, while increasing the brand’s visibility at key calendar events, the agency said.
