Matthew Freud to appear at Ad Week Europe in conversation with Danny Rogers

PR legend Matthew Freud is making a rare appearance on stage on Tuesday, for a live interview with PRWeek UK editor-in-chief, Danny Rogers.

Freud - whose clients include Comic Relief, Bono and Heston Blumenthal - will be speaking at a special session of Advertising Week Europe in London entitled Harnessing Fame for the Greater Good on Tuesday (21 March) at 5pm on the IPA Centenary Stage.

In conversation with Rogers, who wrote the book Campaigns that Shook the World: The Evolution of Public Relations, Freud will talk about his experience of working with numerous A-list celebrities and how fame can be central in campaigns that benefit the greater good.

Freud's eponymous PR agency has created long-running purpose-led campaigns, from Live Aid in the 1980s to Product (RED) with Bono and Damian Hirst since the 2000s.
