Hills Balfour wins Lithuania tourist brief

The Lithuania State Department of Tourism has appointed Hills Balfour to manage its trade relations, consumer marketing and PR campaigns in the UK and Ireland. The brief runs to May 2019. The department had been without a UK agency since last year. Hills Balfour's work on the account will be led by recent hire Akvile Vanagaite, a native Lithuanian who used to work for the tourist department.

Frank to represent Apprentice winner

Alana Spencer, who was last night crowned winner of The Apprentice 2016, has become a client of Frank PR, as part of the agency’s ongoing work with Lord Sugar. Frank has represented Lord Sugar personally and across all his business interests since 2001, and looks after all winners of the show. As part of brief, Frank will work alongside Spencer to develop a comms strategy around her new cake business - Ridiculously Rich by Alana.

ICCO signs Chinese deal

The International Communications Consultancy Organisation and the Chinese International Public Relations Association have signed an agreement for cooperation. The agreement means the bodies will share information and training, meet regularly and attend each others' summits. The agreement has also led to plans to host the 2020 ICCO summit in Beijing.
