Hyatt Hotels global comms VP Candace Mueller departs

Candace Mueller, VP of global communications at Hyatt Hotels, has departed the company after one year. Global CMO Maryam Banikarim confirmed on Monday that Mueller no longer works at Hyatt, but said the company does not comment on personnel departures. British Triathlon signs up The Playbook

British Triathlon, the national governing body for Triathlon, Aquathlon and Duathlon in Britain, has hired Hanover's creative agency The Playbook for a project to encourage more people to get involved in the sport. The campaign is to launch before Christmas and will focus on recruiting both new triathletes and converting those who already have a relationship with the sport. BabyHub hires Mason Williams

Baby products firm BabyHub has hired Mason Williams for a national PR campaign. This will include publicizing SleepSpace, billed as the world’s first mosquito net-fitted travel cot. Mason Williams senior account director Joanne Greer said: "BabyHub is a great win for Mason Williams, it reinforces our expertise in the family and baby sector."

Creative sector support group Toucan appoints The PR Office

Toucan, a support network for small businesses in the creative industries, has hired The PR Office to raise its profile. The London agency said it will "focus on positioning Toucan as experts and leading commentators on relevant issues regarding start-ups, their requirements and the support needed by arranging meetings with influential media".
