LOS ANGELES: Fox Sports has hired Terri Hines as EVP of communications, effective December 5.
Hines will be responsible for leading communications across Fox Sports’ multiplatform portfolio, including the sports television arm of Fox Broadcasting Company, FS1, FS2, and its 22 regional sports networks. She will also have oversight of comms for Fox Sports Digital, Fox Deportes, and joint ventures with other entities, Fox Sports said in a statement.
She will join the company from Converse, where she served as global comms VP since October 2010. She led Converse’s global communications strategy and corporate responsibility across North America, EMEA, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America and spearheaded the media launch for the Converse Chuck II.
Previously, Hines worked on integrated communications and entertainment strategy as director of communications for Nike’s Jordan Brand, stepping into that role in 2007.
Prior, Hines worked as senior manager of public affairs, lifestyle, and corporate communications at Los Angeles-based Nissan North America. She held various corporate comms roles in her 10-year stint at Nissan.
Hines also joined the Lagrant Foundation’s board of directors last October as a member of its alumni committee.
