Richard Edelman on the value of trust and what businesses are missing

At the 2016 PRWeek Conference last month, Edelman's CEO spoke about how the trust gap has changed - for the worse - between businesses and consumers.

At the 2016 PRWeek Conference, Richard Edelman talked about the declining trust in institutions from this year's election cycle. The 2016 Edelman Trust Barometer found that the gap of trust between the average person and business, government, and other entities has widened, while the elite, or the educated and wealthy, trust those entities more, he said. 

After his presentation, Edelman spoke about where many organizations are falling short.
