Stir PR appointed to build brand awareness for appliances maker Miele

Domestic appliances firm Miele has appointed Stir PR for an ongoing brief to build brand awareness and desire for the company's products.

After being appointed in August, Stir will handle a number of consumer briefs targetting London audiences for the German company - including an influencer campaign on Miele’s laundry appliances between now and Christmas.

Stir will also run a campaign focussed on the company’s cooking appliances in the New Year, according to senior account director Sarah Tadier, who is heading up the brief.

Zoe Carter, PR and consumer marketing manager at Miele GB, said: "With their experience in handling premium consumer brands and speaking to our target audience, as well as their strong relationships with relevant influencers, Stir PR was the clear choice to take on the job of increasing awareness of Miele in the UK."

Sellers PR continues to handle Miele’s press office, while creative agency Mr President runs its digital channels alongside Stir. The agencies will work to create engaging content for both influencers and consumers, said Tadier.

The company had previously worked with Frank PR, which was appointed to oversee a year-long consumer and social media brief in February 2014, among others.
