Guinness World Records looks for new PR agency support in Germany and MENA

Guinness World Records is seeking new PR agency support in Germany and MENA, which it described as two of its fastest growing regions.

The company is reviewing its current b2c and b2b PR support in Germany for 2017 and is seeking expressions of interest.

The account has been led in Germany by Arrowsmith since 2013, and the remit is to grow Guinness World Records’ consumer brand awareness across Germany, Austria and Switzerland through media outreach, TV appearances and partnerships, and also to promote its commercial work with brands and agencies.

Guinness World Records opened an office in Dubai in 2013 and is now looking for an agency to handle consumer and trade PR in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The remit there is to increase awareness among children, families and young adults, including creative campaigns, plus regional events and promotion of its commercial offering.

Nadine Causey, Guinness World Records senior vice president, EMEA & APAC, said: "Energy, creativity and passion are at the heart of our business as well as in the hearts of our record breakers and we invite agencies with that ethos to help build our reputation for world-class achievement."

Agencies can contact jakki.lewis@guinnessworldrecords.com for the full RFP document.

Earlier this year The Red Agency, the Havas-owned Australian agency, won a multi-agency pitch for Guinness World Records in Australia and New Zealand.

The company said: "Further consumer PR agency provision is expected in due course in both China and Japan to support the local Beijing and Tokyo offices and teams."
