Halpern has been appointed by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group, to support the London launch of his latest musical – School of Rock. Halpern will work with influencers to raise awareness of the show following its run in the US. The agency will also work with Lloyd Webber himself to support his work with the arts in education.

Redleaf lends a hand to Kuflink

Redleaf Communications has been appointed by peer-to-peer lending platform Kuflink for a consumer brief. The agency will help raise Kuflink's profile in national and business press and it has also devised a tailored thought leadership campaign to strengthen its position in the peer-to-peer market.

Common Industry has announced a partnership with Peppersmith dental sweets, following a competitive pitch, in which it will launch a new brand campaign later this year. The agency will provide brand communications strategy, partnership management and create branded content for the company. Aaron Cole, founding partner of Common Industry, said Peppersmith was a dream client for the agency and described it as a stylish challenger brand.

Executive search firm appoints deputy MD

JFL Search and Selection has promoted Carolyn Kirkwood to deputy managing director. Kirkwood worked for JFL for four years until 2010, when she left to join Ellwood Atfield as an associate director. She rejoined JFL in 2013 as a director and has worked for the search firm since. Kirkwood will work with PR consultancies and in-house teams including Amazon and Samsung.

New SEO offer is a good yarn

Splendid Communications has developed a new SEO offering to its services in the form of YARN. The agency said YARN will maximise the organic reach of brand content by combining data-driven intelligence and strategic real-world insights. Earlier this summer, Splendid announced that Niki Hunter-Ekins had been promoted to managing director of the agency.
