Newgate adds partner

Simon Gentry has moved from MWW to join Newgate Communications as a partner in its public affairs and corporate team. Associate Daniel Costen also makes the same switch, alongside clients of Gentry including StubHub and the ATM Industry Association. Newgate is part of Porta, which brought in Gavin Devine as COO earlier in the summer.

BoldMove for PRCA

The PRCA has partnered with recruitment firm BoldMove to create a service that will match agencies with non-executive directors. This was announced this morning at the trade association's National Conference in London.

JBP's Cardiff win

PRWeek UK Top 150 agency JBP has been appointed by Associated British Ports to provide provide stakeholder engagement and PR support around the Dolffin Quay development in Cardiff Bay, its flagship property development scheme.

WRG chooses The Moment

Experiential agency WRG and digital, content and production company The Moment have developed a partnership to provide a broader range of services to clients. Both are owned by LDC. WRG has 150 staff, and The Moment employs 100.

Down At The Social's baby brief

MediaCityUK-based agency Down At The Social has been appointed by Kiddihug, a new range of baby carriers, ahead of its UK launch this October at The Baby Show. The agency will be responsible for PR and social media for both pre- and post-launch activity, focusing on national and international press, as well as parent bloggers.

Ready10 recruits

Ready10, the agency founded earlier this year by former Frank deputy MD David Fraser, has appointed associate director Aimée Jacobs, formerly of Salt, and previously at Splendid, beige and 77PR.
