Watch: Brooklyn Beckham positions Honor as smartphone for digital natives

Honor is trying to push its credentials as the smartphone brand for digital natives by announcing Brooklyn Beckham as a global ambassador.

In an advert shot for the brand by director Simon Cahn, the photography student (and son of David and Victoria Beckham) is seen using Huawei’s latest smartphone the Honor 8 as he goes about his daily activities around London.

George Zhao, president of Honor, said: "As an aspiring photographer finding his own way, Brooklyn is the perfect representation of Honor’s spirit."

Hill + Knowlton Strategies London was behind the creative of the whole brand campaign.

The sub-brand of tech firm Huawei that focuses on smartphones and is exclusive to online markets will also be hoping to leverage the junior Beckham’s 8.5m Instagram followers – a clip of the ad he posted on the platform has had more than 500,000 views in less than a day.
