Lewis names Stephen Corsi to top U.S. role

He is replacing Morgan McLintic, who is leaving the agency after two decades.

SAN FRANCISCO: Lewis has promoted Stephen Corsi, global SVP at Lewis Pulse, to EVP and head of U.S. operations.

Corsi is replacing regional EVP Morgan McLintic, who is leaving the company after 20 years. Corsi will take on the U.S. leadership role at Lewis alongside his global role at Lewis Pulse, the digital marketing division of the agency.

Corsi said he was able to grow the revenue of  the Pulse digital team by a compound annual growth rate of 63%.

"[CEO Chris Lewis] wanted to see if I could do some of the same things for the U.S.," Corsi said.

Corsi took on the U.S. lead role on July 1. He is reporting to Lewis and is based in San Francisco, the agency’s U.S. headquarters. His new responsibilities include overseeing overall operations in the U.S., which has 200 employees, and handling Lewis’s transition into a fully integrated agency.

Last year, Lewis rebranded the agency to emphasize its integrated services and dropped the 'PR' suffix from its name.

"I want to continue to flesh out the integrated service model, pulling together PR, social media, and marketing into a more cohesive offering for our clients," Corsi said. "And to expand our geographic remit in the U.S."

Corsi joined Lewis Pulse in 2012. Prior to that, he worked as MD for digital marketing agency iCrossing. Earlier in his career, he worked in marketing in the financial sector, including for First NLC Financial Services, First Franklin Financial, Safeway Select Bank, and President's Choice Financial.

McLintic said in a LinkedIn post that he’s establishing a new firm "at the intersection of PR and content marketing with an emphasis on influencer relations and advocacy."

"The new firm will launch in the fall," he added. "I’m looking forward to working closely with clients, to mentoring staff, moving fast, and being entrepreneurial."

Lewis has 27 offices around the world. In 2015, Lewis’ global revenues were $68.6 million, with global revenue up 12% overall and 7% organically.
