Carlton picks Wild Card

The agency Wild Card has been appointed to handle UK PR for British luggage brand Carlton. The account was won following Wild Card spending a year working with Sabichi Homewares, which has recently purchased Carlton, on a separate account.

W to launch energy drink

Asian energy drink Carabao has chosen W to provide PR as part of a marketing campaign worth an eight-figure sum, which will bring the drink to the UK. The campaign includes three-year partnerships with football teams Chelsea and Reading. W has been given an initial 12-month contract.

H+K hires Dan Berry from DH

Hill+Knowlton Strategies' London office has appointed Dan Berry as a strategist in H+K Smarter, its behavioural insights and strategies team. He comes from the Department of Health where he spent six-and-a-half years in a variety of roles, most recently undertaking comms-focused behavioural trials and evaluations.

Kazoo briefed for festival launch

Kazoo Communications has won the social media brief to support the launch of The Epicurean, a new fine food and artisanal drink event that will take place in London in October. The Epicurean's organisers, Hemming Events, also run The London Wine Fair.

90TEN expands med ed team

The medical education team of healthcare comms firm 90TEN has been boosted by five new hires. Mandi Watty-Miller arrives as senior account director from Ogilvy Healthworld, as does account manager Laura Penfold. Sasha Walton joins as assistant account executive, Niall Murphy as senior medical writer and Daniel Warder as editorial assistant.
