Stacey Tank is a unique force and an important leader in the rapidly changing world of PR and communications.
I first met Stacey years ago when she was working at GE in communications. She came to the function from the corporate audit staff — essentially finance — a very unusual track for a PR superstar, but very in line with her spirit and capabilities.
She was always incredibly bright, insightful, and really fun to be around.
While at GE, Stacey helped build the company’s first gold standard skills analysis and guidebook — helping to define what communications means at GE.
The move to Heineken was such an amazing one for Stacey, where she spent three years as SVP, and chief corporate relations officer. Now she is bringing her tremendous life force and skills to retailer The Home Depot.
My favorite thing about Stacey is her openness to new ideas and thinking. She is a hunter — always looking for new ways to tackle large-scale projects and fresh concepts to support the success of the team she is working on.
People love to work for her and she loves to develop and nurture people. It is a blast to watch Stacey in action — and I personally can’t wait to see what she does next.
