Brazen hired to promote Chewits in UK

Sweets producer Cloetta has hired Manchester-based Brazen to promote the Chewits brand and other products in the UK. Brazen is to create trade-focused PR campaigns for Chewits, Goody Good Stuff and Frozn, with new product launches due. Brazen worked on the Chewits brand in 2014.

 

Luxury east London shopping development Hackney Walk hires Sister London

Hackney Walk, a 'luxury' east London shopping development that is set to open this summer, has hired Sister London to handle PR. Burberry, Aquascutum, Bally, Anya Hindmarch and Pringle of Scotland are among the brands represented at Hackney Walk, with others to be announced. Separately, Sister London has also been appointed to manage and market the Connaught Village Summer Festival in central London, which takes place on 22 June.

 

PRCA names Wales Group chair

The PRCA has named Sharon Flaherty, founding director of BrandContent, as chairman of its national Wales Group. It follows the recent separation of the South West and Wales Group into two separate groups. Laura Windeatt, freelance PR consultant and journalist, has been made vice-chair.

 

Skip Hop hires Azaria PR as UK agency

American baby products brand Skip Hop has appointed Azaria PR to handle UK PR activities as the company launches a sales office in the UK. The account was won following a competitive pitch. Azaria said it will work on a "fun and exciting" PR and marketing plan designed to grow the brand’s presence in the UK.
