NEW YORK: Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has chosen HL Group as its PR and social media AOR for the U.S. market.

HL Group will develop and execute a holistic communications strategy for Four Seasons including traditional PR and media relations, social media counsel, events, influencer relations, and digital activation.

The firm will also support ongoing and marquee brand initiatives, new property openings, and influencer engagement.

Sorya Ingrid Gaulin, Four Seasons’ global director of PR and social media marketing, said in a statement that the company chose HL Group due to its experience in the luxury segment and its "innovative approach" to integrated marketing.

HL Group was selected after an RFP process begun early this year. The firm beat out several dozen agencies for the account. Four Seasons started working with HL Group in February, account director Amanda Oey told PRWeek via email.

Representatives from Four Seasons and HL Group declined to comment further.

In 2012, Four Seasons brought on Zeno Group as its U.S. PR AOR. Before that, the company had worked with PRCo USA since 2004.

Last summer, Tiffani Cailor, Four Seasons Hotel New York head of PR, joined the Bermuda Tourism Authority as its director of PR and content development.

HL Group is an MDC Partners firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles. Its client roster spans industries including lifestyle, fashion, travel and hospitality, beauty, home and interior design, and consumer goods, as well as corporate, media, and civic concerns.
