The PR Census, compiled with global market research organisation YouGov, will provide the definitive overview of the UK PR industry – the online survey is open to everyone who works in PR and comms in the UK. The deadline is Friday 22 April at 5pm.

The PRCA is offering the prize of an iPad to one randomly chosen respondent who completes the survey.

The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete. Responses will be entirely confidential, and no information provided will be identifiable either at a personal or organisation level.

Sponsored by software firm Deltek, the PR Census 2016 will be published in June, with exclusive findings published in PRWeek. The report will reveal the industry’s size and how much it contributes to the economy, alongside demographics, salaries, industry prospects and how PR professionals feel about the pressing issues of growth, revenue and budgets.

PRCA director general Francis Ingham said: "The figures in the first two reports provided definitive data on the size and scale of the UK PR industry. We’ve broadened the question range to discover yet more about the people who work in our industry, making this an even more comprehensive and in-depth analysis of what communications really looks like today."

The PRCA and PRWeek published the previous PR Census in 2013, which generated more than 1,500 responses.
