VaynerMedia, which employs around 600 people across four offices in the US, has been working with GE on a global basis for about five years, with a brief that includes brand strategy across digital and social channels.
Once the London office opens on 1 April, the UK team will work on the account with their counterparts in New York, supporting GE’s media operations in Europe.
VaynerMedia’s UK outfit is set to operate from a We Work office near Old Street, with a team that is expected to include UK-based staff and others from New York, its headquarters.
As PRWeek has previously reported, the London office will be led by the group’s vice-president Eric Fulwiler. The plan is for the London office to work with current clients and clients originating from the UK.
VaynerMedia works across the FMCG, consumer packaged goods and retail sectors, as well as US TV networks. The company's US offices are in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chattanooga in Tennessee.
