Obama makes historic visit to Cuba
President Barack Obama touched down in Cuba on Sunday, beginning his historic visit to the communist country, the first by a U.S. president in nine decades. He’s set to meet with Cuban leader Raul Castro today. Obama chatted with a leading Cuban humorist and tweeted a message to the country’s people before he landed.


Businesses scramble to get a foothold in Cuba
Starwood reached an agreement with Cuban authorities to become the first U.S. company to manage hotels in the country since the Communist revolution of 1959. Airbnb has also opened its Cuban listings to everyone. Last week, Llorente & Cuenca and Weber Shandwick moved forward with plans to establish a footprint in Cuba.
