Hill+Knowlton Strategies today announced the creation of a new position, China CEO, and has hired QC Liang to fill it.
Liang brings more than 25 years’ communications experience to H+K. He arrives from TCL Corporation in Shenzhen, where he spent nine years and was most recently assistant president and general manager of branding.
Liang was also managing director of TCL’s media and entertainment business, and has expertise in PR, brand strategy, sports marketing and advertising.
Before joining TCL, Liang worked for APCO Worldwide and FleishmanHillard.

In his new role, Liang will be responsible for managing H+K’s operations across its Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou offices. He will report to Ye Yu, H+K’s APAC executive vice president and China chairman.
