WPP reports like-for-like revenue growth of 'well over' three per cent in February

WPP saw like-for-like revenue and net sales rise by "well over three per cent" in February, the company announced this morning.

The announcement came in what WPP described as a "preliminary flash report" following its full-year results announcement last week, after "a number of investors and analysts expressed an interest in our February revenue and net sales growth" at the results meeting on Friday.

In last week’s results announcement, WPP said its PR and public affairs operations saw revenue grow around six per cent to £945.8m ($1.34bn) in 2015, lifted by a strong Q4.

The firm used its annual results to warn against misplaced "Don Draperish" industry optimism.
