Burson-Marsteller today announced two senior level regional appointments across its Asia-Pacific operations.
Barry Wong has joined the agency as managing director, creative and innovation.
With almost 20 years’ experience in APAC, Wong arrives from Commonwealth//McCann, where he worked across Singapore and Bangkok.
Prior to this, Wong held a host of digital and creative positions at various agencies, including McCann Worldgroup, Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO and SohoSquare/OgilvyOne.
He will lead Burson-Marsteller’s development of integrated, digital comms campaigns across the APAC region.
Margaret Key, CEO of Burson-Marsteller APAC, said: "Barry is a creative businessman and brings a unique perspective to our digital and creative offerings.
"We are thrilled to have his insight and experience to deliver fresh and innovative programmes for our clients. He is also a critical member of our regional leadership team and will serve at the helm of our growing digital and integrated efforts."
Ostronic (pictured) was previously regional director, marketing and new business for Burson-Marsteller APAC.
She has also worked as CMO for Genesis Burson-Marsteller in India, and as vice president of business development at Direct Impact, a wholly-owned Burson-Marsteller subsidiary in Washington, DC.
In her new role, Ostronic will focus on APAC operations and resource management, as well as senior talent retention and recruitment.
"Judy’s experience in the U.S., India and Hong Kong make her a great fit to take on these new responsibilities," Key added.
"She has a deep understanding of our business across practices and geographies, which is critical as we look to grow and develop our senior talent across the region."
