W Communications wins Boat International Media event account

Agency will advise yachting publisher on its flagship event

Boat International Media, the leading global luxury yachting publication, has hired W Communications as its PR lead on its Superyacht Design Symposium.

The event, taking place in the Austrian Alps from 21-23 February, is Boat International Media’s flagship symposium and one of the most popular of its kind.

W will be responsible for growing the event’s presence beyond the superyacht community and devising a comms strategy to position it among the wider network of ultra high-net-worth individuals and designers.

The account will be managed by both W’s Singapore and London offices.
