Speyside launches Inside Iran

Global emerging markets-focused agency Speyside Corporate Relations has launched Inside Iran, a reporting and counselling service to help Western companies assess risks and opportunities in the country. It will be provided by a combination of consultants based in the country, and Speyside's existing team. In July, Italian marcoms group SEC announced it was entering the Iranian market.

Kazoo nets Young's Seafood

Young’s Seafood has appointed Kazoo Communications to handle PR activity on a retained contract following a four-way, two-stage pitch process. The brief, which includes media relations, building brand advocates and product placement, kicks off this month and will focus on cementing the brand as the leading frozen and chilled seafood manufacturer.

Burson's Chris Cartwright heads to Farner

Swiss agency Farner Consulting has appointed Chris Cartwright – formerly the head of Burson-Marsteller's Geneva office – to its management board. He will create and lead a new practice group aimed at international clients, which will complement existing international work done through its alliances with FleishmanHillard among others. Cartwright became Burson's Swiss MD in 2011.

The Soil Association unearths PR

The agency Well Hello has been taken on by environmental campaigning charity The Soil Association. The agency's brief covers strategic advice, content creation, media relations and other areas, beginning with the charity's Best of Organic Makers Awards in May. The account will be led by partner Nick Woods.

Threepipe wins RichRelevance brief

E-commerce personalisation software firm RichRelevance has appointed Threepipe to manage its UK press office activity, following a competitive pitch. Threepipe will work to profile RichRelevance’s expanded management team and highlight the company’s suite of diversified services to the UK retail community.
