Creston partners with Latin American group Ariadna
Creston Unlimited has partnered with independent agency group Ariadna, in a deal that will see the agencies refer clients to each other as well as jointly pitch for global opportunities. Ariadna shares major clients with Creston Unlimited including Diageo, Nissan, Toyota and Unilever. Founded in 1999, Ariadna has 350 staff in ten countries across the Americas, with its headquarters in Miami.
Texas Instruments appoints Golin for EU brief
Texas Instruments, the global semiconductor design and manufacturing company, has appointed Golin to manage its media relations and content marketing business across the UK, France, Germany and Italy. Golin will help grow TI’s digital and social media programme to help increase the company's brand profile across Europe. Golin has been working with TI in the US for the past 17 years.
Brandman arrives in UK with BCPR merger
New York, Los Angeles and Sydney luxury travel and lifestyle agency The Brandman Agency has launched a London office after taking over Beth Cooper PR. The two have operated as sister agencies for over a decade. BCPR's London team remains in place and will continue to be led by managing director Elizabeth Morrison.
Flight Centre appoints KTA
KTA Public Relations has been appointed by travel company Flight Centre Travel Group as the retained agency representing its business travel brands. The agency already handles PR for its consumer brands.
New York Bakery hires Richmond Towers
Bagel brand New York Bakery Co has appointed Richmond Towers to execute a PR and social campaign to "raise awareness of the brand in the UK, and educate consumers on the benefits of its range of baked goods". The brand had worked with Story UK last year.
BDB bolsters team
North West b2b agency BDB has appointed three new directors, following the arrival of new managing director Matt Smith last month. Catherine Butcher, who has been with the firm since 2007, is promoted to life sciences and health director, Sally Martin has arrived as client services director having previously worked for Weber Shandwick in London and Bliss PR in New York, while Jon Hallowell joins as creative and brand strategy director from Marketecture.
Genesis appointed for Suffolk Show
Suffolk PR agency Genesis PR has been commissioned by the Suffolk Agricultural Association to promote the county’s most prestigious event, the Suffolk Show. Genesis will run a creative media relations campaign across Suffolk and surrounding counties for the show, now in its 185th year.
