PRWeek has learned that her role has been removed at the UK arm of the South Korean tech giant.
At the time of publication, Samsung UK had not provided details of the restructure or said who was currently overseeing the UK PR function.
Lloyd was head of PR at Samsung UK for almost seven years, joining from HP, where she was corporate comms manager. Her other roles have included PR manager at BAA – which is now known as Heathrow Airport Holdings – and PR officer at former railways body Railtrack.
Samsung UK said in a statement: "Samsung UK can confirm that Rachel Lloyd has left the business. We wish her all the best in her future career."
