Hope&Glory wins Adidas PR briefs

Hope&Glory has picked up PR briefs for Adidas' running and women’s performance categories, following a competitive pitch. The brief involves working with the Adidas London newsroom team across three main channels – the brand’s owned social channels, editorial activity and campaigns. The accounts will be led by Hope&Glory managing partner James Gordon-MacIntosh and associate director Pieter Graham.

Havas London hires PR director

Integrated agency Havas London has hired Gabrielle Lott as PR and comms director to head up all press for Havas London and its data and digital business network, Havas Helia. Lott has spent the past two-and-a-half years in Asia, where she launched the APAC office of trade publication Little Black Book. She also worked in Singapore running marketing for media agency MediaCom.

Gloss hires Selfridges PR manager

Barbie Simpson has joined lifestyle agency Gloss Communications as senior PR manager. Simpson joins from Selfridges where she was beauty PR manager. In her new role she will work alongside director Sally Learmouth. Gloss Communications is part of the Alchemy PR Group, whose clients include Universal, Ministry of Sound, Virgin/EMI and Trevor Sorbie.

Kilpatrick to represent Zoella and others

Kilpatrick PR has been appointed by fashion and beauty manufacturer SLG UK to handle the PR for hair and cosmetic ranges by three high-profile YouTube and blog stars – Zoe Suggs' Zoella Beauty, COLAB by Ruth Crilly, and Tanya Burr Cosmetics.

Ilkley Brewery appoints I Like Press

Yorkshire-based Ilkley Brewery has brought in the agency I Like Press on a retained basis. The brewery, which was founded in 2009, exports to more than 10 countries and is sold in Harvey Nichols, Marks & Spencer, Asda, Morrisons and The Co-op.

Shooting Star opens Bristol office

Lincoln-based PR and marketing agency Shooting Star has opened a second office in Bristol as part of a wider growth strategy. The new office will be headed up by Sarah-Jane Freni. Shooting Star works with a range of b2b and b2c clients across the East Midlands.

Message House takes two

Research and campaigns consultancy Message House has taken on Kelly Pinder as a director and Suzanne Ter-Minassian as a research manager. Pinder previously worked at engineering firm Atkins where she led on innovation insights and internal engagement, while Ter-Minassian joins from the Cabinet Office where she worked on research, having previously set up YouGov's first French office.
