McCrudden joins from Midas PR where he had been head of technology and media since 2011. Before this he was creative director at Speed.
He will start his new role at Golin next month, becoming the fifth member of the agency's strategy team in London. He will be responsible for developing comms strategies for corporate clients.
Meanwhile Douglas has spent the past two decades working for national newspapers including The Today newspaper, The Sun and most recently as education editor on the Sunday Express. In 2014 she took up the role of campaigns director at betting industry trade body the Association of British Bookmakers.
At Golin she will develop media strategies for corporate clients.
In addition, Golin has appointed Laura Weston from the 2015 Back2Businesship programme for mothers returning to work, as marketing director. Weston will join the team in London on a three-month contract, working closely with Golin MD Bibi Hilton and executive director, marketing & talent, Jane Fordham.
Weston had previously run content teams and produced digital content for some of the UK’s biggest brands including The Sun, The X Factor and eBay.
