Geometry Global in Malaysia has announced a plethora of new hires at the agency, including business director for social and content, Taavi Kuisma.

Kuisma has several years’ experience in digital and social communications. He was previously head of social media and digital strategist at M&C Saatchi Malaysia, and also worked for Tribal DDB Malaysia.

Kuisma also has experience in the business, marketing and advertising as a co-founder of online stores Nordic Denim House and Northern Denim.

His new role will consist of advising Geometry’s clients on refocusing their PR strategies and making better use of social and digital comms.

"The rapid evolution of the media scene and consumer touchpoints force agencies to not only think new but also adjust the way they approach their clients’ work," Kuisma told PRWeek Asia.

"We need to move away from just doing advertising but creating consumer first content and solutions that deliver clients ROI. I look forward to working with Geometry’s talent and clientele on work that makes a difference."

As well as Kuisma, Geometry has made Jayesh Vyas CFO, Sean Lim general manager for brand activation, Leong Siew Yee general manager for shopper marketing, Abhinav Sharma strategic planning director and Phang Rick Kee business head of activation.
