Samsung launched a piano made entirely from its latest range of Galaxy tablets and gave the public the chance to play their favourite Christmas tunes in a stunt conceived by its agency One Green Bean.

The piano is made from 106 Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablets and features a fully functioning ‘keyboard’ and new wifi technology that lets people access details and discounts for the Galaxy Tab S2.

The piano was positioned in Spitalfields Market in east London, with classical pianist Myleene Klass present at the launch.

Conor Pierce, vice-president of IT and mobile at Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland, said: "Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S2 has been designed for consumers who want a tablet that is ultra slim and lightweight; ideal for helping them explore new content wherever they are, even if that means right in the middle of the bustling Spitalfields Market."

The idea came from One Green Bean, the originally Australian agency into which Havas Group's London PR business was merged in September.
