Huntsworth adds non-exec

Grayling and Citigate owner Huntsworth has appointed Pat Billingham as a non-executive director, effective 1 December. Billingham, who was a partner at global accounting firm EY from 1995 to 2012, will also join Huntsworth's audit and remuneration committees.

PRCA Council names Molly Aldridge as vice-chair

M&C Saatchi PR CEO Molly Aldridge has been elected as vice-chairman of the PRCA Council, the think-tank of the PR industry. She takes the role in January, when Scout Association comms director David Hamilton is promoted to PR Council chairman, and Aldridge will then replace Hamilton as chair in January 2017. The 2016 council was elected in late October.

Aspectus lands Lanner Group for project work

UK-based simulation software firm Lanner Group has appointed Aspectus as its global comms partner. Aspectus has been tasked with raising the firm's profile within the oil and gas industry using a combination of content, media and search in an initial three-month brand awareness campaign.

Market Gravity hires Toast PR

Manchester-based Toast PR has been appointed to carry out nationwide PR activity for business consultancy firm Market Gravity following a five-way competitive pitch. The brief will involve raising Market Gravity’s profile across several b2b sectors, as the company looks to open additional UK regional offices; it currently has offices in London, Edinburgh and New York.

Seneca Investment Managers appoints Four Broadgate

Liverpool-based asset management firm Seneca Investment Managers has appointed Four Broadgate as its retained PR agency. The agency will work with Seneca to provide PR support to its business and to promote the investment expertise of its fund management team.

Threepipe wins extended Standard Chartered work

Standard Chartered has extended its relationship with Threepipe with a project to create and deliver a social media campaign promoting education around HIV and Aids. Standard Chartered’s Positive Living programme, launched in 1999, is designed to promote safer lifestyle choices and combines face-to-face workshops with e-learning to educate global communities about HIV and Aids.

Brackendale partners with German agency

Private equity sector PR firm Brackendale Consulting has negotiated an agreement with Cologne-based agency Vocato. The deal will enable both agencies' clients to get more extensive overseas coverage, Brackendale said in a press release.

Mason Williams to relaunch The Bailey's

Mason Williams has been appointed to oversee the UK public relations relaunch campaign for The Bailey’s Hotel London, following the multimillion-pound refurbishment of the Kensington hotel.
