As it celebrates its 20th anniversary, Elise Mitchell's PR firm is rebranding to reflect a wider range of services.

FAYETTEVILLE, AR: Mitchell Communications is rebranding as Mitchell to reflect its transformation into a firm with a wider range of services, the Dentsu Aegis Network agency said Wednesday morning.

Alongside a new brand name, the firm also refreshed its logo and revamped its website with video content telling the shop’s story.

The change also reflects that the firm is offering a wider range of services than just communications, CEO Elise Mitchell said. Its business has changed in myriad ways, from its launch in Mitchell’s kitchen two decades ago to opening offices in New York and Chicago and its acquisition by Dentsu.

She noted this is the fifth time the firm has refreshed its brand since its launch. In recent years, it has invested in creative, consumer insights, research, technology, and video, and focused more often on digital and social media, influencer, and consumer marketing.

"We are still a PR firm at our heart, and we come at what we do from an earned point of view, but there is no question that there’s a great convergence happening in the marcomms landscape," Mitchell said. "What we do has expanded significantly."

The agency counts Walmart, Sam’s Club, Procter & Gamble, and Kraft among its clients. In 2014, the agency achieved revenue of $15.9 million and had a headcount of 75.

The firm also introduced a new logo, which maintains some elements of the former one, such as the yellow circle, but with a new design, as well as a refreshed website that tells some of its employees’ stories alongside the firm’s history.
