GQ director joins The Communications Store in senior role

Jo Levin, formerly creative fashion director at the magazine GQ, has joined fashion, beauty and lifestyle agency The Communications Store as consultant creative director.

Levin will work closely with TCS's partners - its founder Julietta Dexter and director Daniel Marks - to "champion creative excellence across both The Communications Store and its client portfolio", a release from the agency said.

She joined from Conde Nast, the publisher of GQ, today (16 November).

Marks said: "Her proven track record of 25 years at Conde Nast working with some of the most exceptional photographers, art directors, brands and talent will bring unparalleled experience and opportunity to our clients. We are delighted that Jo is joining our team at such an important time in the development of our business.

Levin said: "There are so many opportunities for forward thinking brands to target an increasingly demanding and overwhelmed consumer. In a crowded global market brands need to create truly exceptional creative content to stand out from the crowd and truly entice the consumer."

The agency's income rose by £2m last year to £10.6m.
