Sansan has hired EastWest PR as its agency of record for Southeast Asia.

Japan-based Sansan, founded in 2007, specialises in business card transcription and contact management software that allows brands to share customer data. The company has more than 3,000 clients worldwide.

EastWest is tasked with managing Sansan’s communications strategy in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The agency recently handled the PR around Sansan’s opening of its new Singapore office.

"We are honoured to be appointed as Sansan’s partner in the region, as it reflects their recognition of our expertise in PR and digital services," said Jim James, founder and managing director of EastWest.

"We look forward to growing this relationship, and to help Sansan achieve their business objectives in the Asia Pacific."

Chika Terada, Sansan CEO, said: "Having a digitally savvy partner like EastWest on our side gives us that edge in reaching out to our target audience with quicker stride.

"With EastWest’s successful track record in Asia and sound understanding of the B2B technology sector I have full confidence in their ability to grow our business within this region."
