M Booth CFO Joseph Hamrahi takes on dual role as COO

He has worked at the Next Fifteen agency for more than a decade.

NEW YORK: M Booth has appointed CFO Joseph Hamrahi to the dual role of COO, a newly created position.

Hamrahi, who has worked at the Next Fifteen firm since 2004 when he joined as controller, will report to M Booth CEO Dale Bornstein. He took on the new role last week.

"We’ve grown substantially over the last year and we’re venturing into a strong growth period as part of the Next Fifteen group," explained Hamrahi. "There are a lot of new challenges ahead in the marketplace, so we wanted to make sure we get a focus on tracking the best talent and maintain our culture."

Hamrahi will work with Bornstein to build the firm’s offerings in a profitable way that meets client satisfaction, he said.

He added that the agency is looking to acquire talent in areas such as social, digital, tech, research, and insights and analytics.

Last year, M Booth hired Jeff Bodzewski as chief analytics officer and co-lead of Mtelligence, a suite of analytics planning and insight tools, as well as Bonnie Ulman as chief planning and insights officer.

Prior to M Booth, Hamrahi served as CFO of network solutions provider Interactive Futures.
