Devonshires Solicitors appoints Social Communications

Manchester's Social Communications has been appointed by London law firm Devonshires Solicitors to provide corporate PR and thought leadership support. The ongoing brief was won following a presentation the agency delivered to Devonshires around the value of social media.

Red Lorry Yellow Lorry to work for start-ups accelerator

Boston, US-founded MassChallenge, which supports and grows high potential start-ups, has appointed Red Lorry Yellow as its UK PR agency. MassChallenge launched its UK office earlier this year. The ongoing brief was won following a recommendation, and the agency will work to publicise the companies involved in this year's programme.

SKV taken on by markets provider

Groupe Gerard, which runs more than 1,200 regular market days each year in the UK, has taken on SKV Communications on an ongoing basis to raise its corporate profile. The agency will help its clients communicate its expertise to local authorities and private property owners seeking to add value to their locations.

Woodthorpe wins two clients

Woodthorpe Comms has been taken on to handle press and PR for global marketing agency Cherry London, and separately has won an account with Scottish woollen tweed tailors Walker Slater to manage the brand throughout the UK and Europe. The firm has also recently taken on new associate director Jo McConnell.

Chameleon to launch video social network eva

The agency Chameleon has been appointed to help launch video social network and online community eva in the UK. Created by London-based Forbidden Technologies, it was launched in Los Angeles earlier this month. Chameleon said the appointment was not for a specified duration but that it hoped eva would be a long-term client.
