FxPro PR lead joins Stature to establish financial division

Stature PR has appointed Angus Campbell (pictured above) to lead its new corporate and financial division. He joins the London agency today following just over two years as head of PR at the online broker FxPro, and prior to that was head of comms at online trading services firm London Capital Group. Gorkana CEO Jeremy Thompson has left his role to become EMEA managing director of parent company Cision, with Myles Johnson promoted to the new role of Gorkana MD. Johnson, formerly chief financial officer at Gorkana, will continue to report to Thompson.

Burson-Marsteller hires worldwide EVP

Capella wins account for ad tech firm TVTY

Ad tech firm TVTY has appointed Capella as its UK PR consultancy following a six-way agency pitch. Capella’s brief is to establish TVTY – which provides services for major firms including Coca-Cola and Visa – as the leading provider of ‘moment marketing’ technology for brands and agencies. The 12-month contract began last week.

McCann London hires Beeb's social head

The ad agency McCann London has appointed BBC head of social media Chris Hamilton to the newly created role of editorial director at McCann Live, the network's digital and social agency. It has also hired Irina Kondrashova, the former strategy director at digital marketing agency 360i, to be the strategy director. Harrison Spinks appoints Pure

Leeds agency Pure Creative Marketing has been appointed as the PR agency for bedmaker Harrison Spinks. The 12-month deal, which began last month, also covers the group's mattress brands.
