Fishburn's finance head Paul Farrow joins Benjamin Ball

Paul Farrow (pictured), the former MD and head of financial & professional services at Fishburn has joined Benjamin Ball Associates as a partner. Benjamin Ball offers training to businesses in media relations, pitches and presentations. Former financial journalist Farrow also led Fishburn's in-house media training team during his five-year stint at the agency.

Burning Night bar group appoints Golley Slater

Golley Slater PR has been appointed to handle consumer and corporate comms for Burning Night Group, following a competitive pitch. Burning Night's portfolio comprises The Bierkeller, Around The World In 80 Beers and Shooters Bar. Golley Slater’s Wales and Yorkshire teams are handling the account.

Stature PR wins BAFTA games brief

Following a competitive pitch, Stature PR has been taken on by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts to support promotion of April's British Academy Games Awards, and its year-round events programme including workshops and industry briefings. The team will be directed by Stature PR associate director Laurence Bray.

Cowshed wins Skills for Health, hires Kate Sullivan

Cardiff agency Cowshed Communications has won an account to provide PR and online support to Skills for Health, a charity that is the Government's sector skills council for healthcare. It begins work on the account next week. The agency, which was founded last year, last week hired Kate Sullivan as associate director and head of campaigns.

Astley Media sponsors local rugby team Exeter Chiefs

PR and marketing firm Astley Media has begun a sponsorship deal with Premiership Rugby side Exeter Chiefs. Astley, which is based in Exeter, does sports marketing work for several clients and already works with the club to support local charities. The firm's logo will now appear on the Chiefs' shirts in European Cup games.
