Cohn & Wolfe has been appointed by the Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation (HKIRC) to handle the company’s public and media relations for the next three years.

The agency was also been appointed by Dell to provide media relations support for its annual Dell Enterprise Forum, which was held in Hong Kong on September 9. These wins come on the back of Diana Pong’s appointment as Managing Director of the Hong Kong office earlier this year.

HKIRC, a non-profit, non-statutory corporation to promote the registration of country code URLs, such as .hk, is responsible for the development of policy framework, complaint handling and resolution processes to address grievances associated with the use of .hk and its equivalents.

Cohn & Wolfe will roll out a media relations framework designed to raise HKIRC’s profile among a diverse group of organizations and the community.

For Dell, Cohn & Wolfe led media relations for the Dell Enterprise Forum, an annual conference focused on learning how future ready enterprises are better equipped to manage growth and take advantage of technology innovation. The project was a result of Cohn & Wolfe’s prior partnership with the brand.

Commenting on the recent wins, Angelina Ong, president, Asia-Pacific, said: "Becoming the agency for these well-respected brands speak volumes about Cohn & Wolfe’s expertise in the technology arena and continues the strong growth trajectory of our Hong Kong office."
