The ‘Travel in Style. Travel in Space’ campaign will run across TV, video on-demand, cinema, digital, press and social.
Skoda UK appointed Kindred as its retained consumer agency last year. The agency has been raising awareness of the Superb brand through lifestyle media and a press event in Scotland called ‘SKODA-ville’.
In addition, a TV advert – ‘Costume Party’ – was aired yesterday during the Wales versus Uruguay Rugby World Cup game. The ad shows a young boy dressed as an astronaut travelling back home from a party with his family, where his journey inside the Skoda Superb makes him feel like he is inside a spaceship.
The campaign follows the appointment of Andrew Cullis to the role of head of marketing in the summer.
Cullis said: "It’s a very exciting time for the brand: the launch of the new Superb is a great opportunity for us to show – through a large variety of media channels – the class-leading combination of style and substance that our cars offer."
