Way to Blue gets Everard for insight

Way To Blue, a global comms agency for the film, entertainment and consumer brand industry, has appointed James Everard as head of insight. He was formerly client director at market research business, MetrixLab. A key part of Everard's new role is to launch the agency's tracking tool Bluetrack.

Lexington takes on former Theresa May spad

Lexington Communications has appointed Fiona Cunningham as a director. A former special adviser to Home Secretary Theresa May, she joined last month following a year at think-tank the Centre for Social Justice where she wrote a report on Human Trafficking. She is also a former reporter for Sky and The Scotsman.

Marketing body CIM appoints Kindred and ICG

The Chartered Institute of Marketing has appointed Kindred to run its press office and deliver campaigns, and Insight Consulting Group (ICG) to provide public affairs support. The move follows the CIM's rebrand and adoption of a new content-led comms strategy, including the launch of a digital portal, called Exchange.

Touch PR wins British gin brand Warner Edwards

Following a competitive pitch, Touch PR has been appointed by British gin brand Warner Edwards to run its PR and digital media campaigns, including a series of events and partnerships. The gin brand, created in 2012, is now sold in Marks & Spencer and other chains and independent stores.
