At The Pramana Collective, Eitan Bencuya says he learned from three of the best tech PR pros in the consultancy’s heavyweight founders Sean Garrett, Brandee Barker, and Brian O’Shaughnessy. Now Bencuya has taken that education to DoorDash, a startup that uses software and a mobile app to partner with restaurants to execute deliveries on-demand in 45 minutes or less. Partners so far include The Cheesecake Factory and Asian Box. Bencuya also previously worked at Sierra Club and Google, where he navigated issues including online privacy and developer outreach over his five-year tenure. At DoorDash, he will likely help scale his new employer’s PR function as it expands geographically. A year ago, DoorDash served one major market. Now the app is available in 15 major metropolitan areas in the US. The startup has also signed its first national partnership, with Taco Bell.
