Yeomans promoted and heads to London to lead comms at NBCUniversal International

Emily Yeomans has relocated from New York to London after being promoted to the role of vice-president of corporate comms at the international arm of US-based media and entertainment company NBCUniversal.

Yeomans, who took up her new role at NBCUniversal International yesterday, joined parent company NBCUniversal in 2010 as a senior comms executive in its Cable Entertainment Group.

Prior to NBCUniversal she worked for MTV Networks for five years in a variety of roles.

Yeomans will report to Denise Bassett, senior vice-president, comms, NBCUniversal International, and will have responsibility for international corporate comms, integrated media relations and internal comms strategies to support the growth of NBCUniversal’s International business.

In addition to a number of US and international TV channels, NBCUniversal owns film company Universal Pictures, plus four Universal Studios resorts in the US and Asia. The company had revenue of $25.4bn (£16.6bn) in 2014.
