NEW YORK: Government affairs firm Patricia Lynch Associates is on MWW’s list of potential agencies to buy in the US and internationally.
Patricia Lynch Associates is one of several possible acquisitions being reviewed by MWW, the agency confirmed.
"During this review period, we are working on a number of projects for clients that have retained both MWWPR and PLA," according to an MWW statement.
While the firms are partnering on joint efforts, Patricia Lynch’s New York team is working out of MWW’s Manhattan office.
Further information on the projects and the potential acquisitions was not disclosed.
Lynch launched the Albany, New York-based firm in 2001, according to the agency’s website. The firm now has offices in Buffalo, New York; New York City; and Panama City, Panama, in addition to its Albany headquarters.
Some of Patricia Lynch’s services include lobbying, legislation development, tracking and advocacy, issue education and advancement, grassroots campaigns, traditional PR, and strategic communications planning, according to the website.
Before starting her own eponymous firm, Lynch was the Speaker of the Assembly’s communications director.
In December 2010, The New York Times reported Lynch was on the hook for $500,000 following a settlement in connection to then-Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s "wide-ranging investigation of the New York State pension fund."
