Vodafone selects Mischief for consumer PR account

Vodafone has appointed Mischief to manage its consumer account following a four-way pitch that included incumbent Burson-Marsteller, PRWeek has learned.

Last month, PRWeek reported that Vodafone had put the account up for review. The brief will cover consumer PR for brand, product and services.

Paddy Toyne-Sewell, head of external comms at Vodafone UK, said: "We're delighted to start work with Mischief from 1 September. It showed it understood our brand and impressed us with great creative and a great team who we could see working well with us and with Vodafone's other marketing partners."

Burson-Marsteller was appointed by Vodafone in May 2014. Freuds has previously worked on the account.
