WASHINGTON, DC: APCO Worldwide has named Rami Sharaf as a senior leader on its international advisory council. He is the CEO of WorldBridge International Group and member of the board of governors of AmCham Cambodia. He will counsel APCO’s clients on international trade and development, international business strategy, and market entry, among other areas.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ: Seton Hall University is launching a College of Communications and the Arts. Professor Deirdre Yates will serve as interim dean of the college, and the search for a new dean will begin this fall.

MIAMI: Llorente & Cuenca has entered the US market with the opening of an office in Miami. Alejandro Romero, managing partner and CEO for Latin America, will lead the Miami office. The location will focus on large M&A transactions in the region, litigation management, and communications for "multilatinas" companies, or Latin American firms with international reach.

MINEOLA, NY: Integrated marcomms agency Didit has acquired PR firm JB Cumberland PR in its third acquisition within a year. JB Cumberland will retain its company name and team, but it will move to Didit’s Manhattan office. JB Cumberland has been in business since 1985.
