NEW YORK: Interpublic Group’s Constituency Management Group, which contains most of its PR firms, saw a 2.3% organic revenue increase in the second quarter, compared with the prior year, to $349.4 million.
For the first six months of the year, CMG’s revenue was up 2% organically to $675.5 million from Q2 2014.
Interpublic Group agencies Weber Shandwick and Golin are both housed within CMG.
The holding company as a whole reported organic revenue growth of 6.7% in the quarter to $1.9 billion.
Operating income was up 10% to $216 million, while net income was $123.8 million in the quarter.
On Monday, Omnicom Group said its PR firms achieved 0.3% organic revenue growth in the second quarter.
